summer 2024 outfit inspiration

Written by anothergirlonline | Aug 10, 2024 11:03:56 AM

how to serve on a budget!! Guys I'm going on holiday in under 3 weeks and I don't feel like I have that many clothes for summer, so I've been online window shopping and saving things, even though I haven't actually bought everything yet.

In this blog I will show all the things I wish I could buy and what my inspiration will be but I doubt I will actually buy most of these because I feel guilty when spending lots of money and these items aren't cheap.

The Aesthetic for this trip is ISLAND GIRL ON A FARM

here's my Pinterest inspo:

BIKINIS:

OUT OF  MY BUDGET:

here's a couple new things I actually bought so lets see if I did well with my inspo:

I got this bikini from primark and I will say it looks better in person haha! (£8 top £8 bottom)

I intend on wearing the first top (£12.50)  as a bikini cover up kinda thing with shorts. I got the dress on the far right (£20.80) in store in the wrong size because it was on sale and it doesn't fit right at all :( but oh well. I literally set notifications on asos and was anxiously waiting for the middle dress (£11.19) to come back in stock and when it finally did I snatched it up quick! Honestly I think I've done a great job following my inspiration, even though it makes sense since I'm the one that's being inspired in the first place... But we've got the polka dots, drop hem dresses, red gingham/plaid, all very 2024 of me.

BUDGET:

I don't want to spend tons of money but I also don't want to over consume and buy lots of cheaply made things that will get worn out soon so what I've done is avoid shops like TEMU, SHEIN etc and buy from cheaper stores like primark, and H&M in person so I can feel the actual quality (and not have to pay delivery lol). I know its tough to shop ethically and I know these stores are also fast fashion but I believe that if I only buy things that I really want and will use over multiple years, then it's okay to buy fast fashion. I used to use depop/vintage avidly but nothing I ordered ever fit right or was good quality, an item even arrive with stains so I honestly will be steering clear of them for a while.

Thank you so much for reading, I know I didn't include many items that I actually own but it's hard to find them online and even if I did, the photos wouldn't do it justice. Just trust me that I will be serving on this holiday!! I have a great vision and I think I will do well with most of the clothes I already own.
